Job Description

Would you like to be involved with supporting the delivery of Technicals examinations?

We are looking for multiple competent industry experts in land-based engineering to join our existing examiner team to support with the creation and delivery of our 0171 Technical Diplomas for the Summer 2024 assessment series and beyond.

This examiner role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills and development.

The assessments within the Level 2 and Level 3 Land-based Engineering qualifications include written short answer papers, multiple choice question papers and assignments.

We are looking for examiners to help in the creation of required assessment materials, with ongoing maintenance of the examinations and assignments required when needed.

A one-day training course will be provided on assessment material production. Following successful completion of the training, work would be commissioned. You would need to be available to attend all day editing/AMEC meetings. These meetings would be planned in advance.

Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis; suitable applicants will be invited to attend training.

When completing your application, it is essential you read the person specification fully, and map your application to show where you meet the requirements set out. Please note applications that do not demonstrate meeting the person specification may be declined or delayed.

We look forward to receiving your application.

We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthen and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the City & Guilds Group to drive this value. We work hard to be inclusive in our approach to recruitment and associate opportunities, whilst still ensuring we meet our regulatory requirements.
