Job Description

Would you like to be involved in supporting the production of City & Guilds’ new reform qualifications in Dental Nursing?

We are looking for associates to write, support and quality assure the production of the Dental Nursing assessments with the first assessment from September 2025 and beyond.

As a production associate for Technical Occupational Entry (OTQ) you will be directly involved in the creation and maintenance of x2 Theory exams which are onscreen multiple-choice tests, that will be available on-demand.

The Task Profile outlines the expectations of these roles, and the Person Specification outlines the experience we’re looking for someone to have as a production associate.

All activity must take place within the UK with the potential to travel to London for meetings when required, although it is anticipated that most of the assessment production activity will take place remotely.

As a production associate, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, review, and quality assurance of our Dental Nursing OTQ assessments. This position requires a deep understanding of dental nursing, strong writing skills, and meticulous attention to detail. These roles hold responsibility for developing assessment materials, revising them to ensure clarity and accuracy and scrutinising them to meet standards. You may also be required to attend assessment material evaluation meetings.

Please note that you will be considered for roles that sit under content production (Assessment Writer, Reviser, Scrutineer, or Independent Reviewer), based on your skills, experience, and the needs of the project. You will not be expected to perform all of these roles. City & Guilds will assess your application and match you with the most suitable position.

When completing your application, it is essential you read the person specification fully and map your application to show where you meet the requirements set out. Please note applications that do not demonstrate meeting the person specification may be declined or delayed. We look forward to receiving your application.

Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis between now and 7th October, and suitable applicants will be invited to attend training.

Please be aware that by submitting your application, along with details of your availability and experience, City & Guilds will assess and determine the most suitable production role for you.

We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthen and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the City & Guilds Group to drive this value. We work hard to be inclusive in our approach to recruitment and associate opportunities, whilst still ensuring we meet our regulatory requirements. We strongly encourage and welcome applications from diverse and underrepresented communities.
