About the Role 

Professional Assessment Ltd are eager to recruit a full time End Point Assessor in Early Years. As an End Point Assessor specialising in the Early Years sector, you will have an array of professional experience having worked in the industry, the role will be varied and flexible. 

The end point assessments will be conducted remotely and onsite, dates will be agreed with the Employers and Apprentices in advance. Using your industry knowledge, you will carry out the assessments, reporting on the assessments using fair and independent judgement against the standards grading criteria to determine an overall grade. PAL’s protocols are to be always adhered to and any conflicts of interest, risks or issues are to be reported in line with policies and procedures. 

You will be expected to have a keen eye for detail and ensure reports are completed accurately and timely. Continuous Professional Development is to be maintained and a record is to be kept, you will also be expected to attend two standardisations per year. 

The role includes travel so access to a vehicle is necessary. Some assessment will be carried out remotely and IT equipment is provided. You will be required to have a suitable broadband connection at home. A good understanding of MS Office and other IT systems is desirable. 

The working days/time will be Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 5:30. Some travel can occur out of hours to arrive timely to morning assessments. This time can be taken back in lieu. 

Essentials: 

  • Hold or be working towards Assessor Award (A1/A2/D32/D33/TAQA or equivalent qualification) 

  • Relevant Level 3 Qualification  

  • Desirable - Relevant Level 6 Qualification
