About the Company

Our client is a respected training provider delivering high-quality vocational and apprenticeship programmes across housing, property management, and technical sectors. Known for their collaborative approach and strong partnerships, they are dedicated to raising standards through robust internal quality assurance and meaningful learner outcomes.

You’ll be joining a supportive and professional team that values quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, where your work genuinely impacts learners’ success and programme compliance.

The Role

As an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), you will:

  • Conduct remote sampling and verification to ensure assessor decisions are valid, reliable, and consistent.
  • Offer guidance, feedback, and standardisation support to assessors and trainers.
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body and EPAO standards, Ofqual regulations, and industry frameworks.
  • Monitor performance, document outcomes, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

This role involves working remotely, supporting a small cohort of learners (approximately 6), with a commitment of around 6 hours per month, offering both flexibility and professional impact.

  • Occupational experience within Carpentry & joinery.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships, EPAO processes, and awarding body compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and support assessors.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience within the FE sector, training providers, or awarding bodies would be highly advantageous.

Why Apply?

  • Flexible, part-time remote role (approx. 6 hours/month)
  •  Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in electrical training quality
  • Competitive, negotiable hourly rate
  • Supportive and collaborative environment with an emphasis on quality
