THE ROLE
Due to continued growth DNA Awarding is seeking a Quality and Compliance Officer to support the End-Point Assessment function in maintaining full compliance with assessment plans, conditions, funding rules and regulators. The Quality and Compliance Officer will be responsible for carrying out checks, running reports, escalating any concerns for review, and ensuring timely result release and certifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Upload and check apprentice registrations on our EPA management system, EPAPro.
• Run reports to identify overdue apprentices for EPA and monitor assessment windows.
• Check and sign off Gateway evidence ensuring readiness for assessment.
• Manage the allocation of Independent End-Point Assessors (IEPAs) ahead of planning meetings.
• Carry out validity and compliance checks on submissions and completed assessments.
• Manage the sampling plans and ensure apprentices are allocated to IQA in a timely manner.
• Release results and claim certificates.
• Ensure that DNA Awarding maintains all SLAs to maintain market position.
• Ensure all relevant questionnaires are distributed post assessment completion.
• Onboard new staff into our EPA management system, EPAPro.
• Escalate any concerns regarding Gateway readiness or assessments to the Head of Quality and Compliance.
• Conduct invigilation drop ins on remote assessment methods.
• Run reports as necessary to support operational processes and quality and compliance monitoring.
• Respond to customer queries and monitor inboxes.
• Uphold and promote DNA Awarding and SCL Group policies and procedures.
• Support the wider team where required.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? Essential • GCSE Grade C or above in English and maths (or equivalent). • Experience of working in an operational or compliance role in a regulated environment or experience in an EPA operational role. • Experience of using Microsoft applications and management systems. v2.0 • Outstanding organisational and time management skills. • Precise and exact attention to detail. • Ability to be flexible in your work approach whilst solving problems independently. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Competent in the use of IT packages and confident with web-based IT systems. • Consistent and high level of accuracy in undertaking work tasks to the highest standards of quality. Desirable • Experience of working in a compliance role within apprenticeships and/or End-Point Assessment
