Job Description

Would you be interested in supporting the delivery of T-Levels in Agriculture, Land Management and Production (ALMP)?

We are collecting applications now however this role is not needed until early 2025.

We are looking for T Level Employer Set Project (ESP) Marking Examiners to join us in the development and delivery of Summer 25 assessment series and beyond.

This associate role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills.

Further detail on these elements, including sample assessments, can be found on our website here

The Task Profile outlines the expectations of the Marking Examiner role, and the Person Specification outlines the experience we’re looking for someone to have as a Marking Examiner.

All Marking Examiners will be required to attend marker training, as well as a standardisation meeting with the rest of the examination team. This is typically a one-day meeting. Please be aware that due to this being a dated assessment, there are periods of the marking process when a quick turnaround is required. As part of the marking process, Markers will be required to submit a Marker report detailing findings on trends observed during the marking activity.

 About your application

Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis. Successful applicants for the Marking Examiner positions may be asked to carry out a short task, attend a telephone interview and/or attend training as part of the second stage of recruitment, before being confirmed in role.

When completing your application, it is essential you read the person specification fully, and map your application to show where you meet the requirements set out. Please note applications that do not demonstrate meeting the person specification may be declined or delayed.

We look forward to receiving your application.

We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthens and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the City & Guilds Group to drive this value. We work hard to be inclusive in our approach to recruitment and associate opportunities, whilst still ensuring we meet our regulatory requirements. We strongly encourage and welcome applications from diverse and underrepresented communities.
