About the role
This role requires someone who is flexible in their approach to all tasks. Someone who has exceptional assessment abilities coupled with the ability to act with integrity and impartiality. The successful post holder will be responsible for delivering an agreed caseload of End-Point Assessments. The sector’s that fall within this role to be assessed are;
- Youth Support Worker Level 3
Youth Support work has 2 assessments; observation with questioning (face-to-face) and a professional discussion which can be carried out remotely. Dates will be agreed with the Employers and Apprentices in advance. Using your industry knowledge, you will carry out the assessments, reporting on the assessments using fair and independent judgement against the standards grading criteria to determine an overall grade.
You will be expected to have a keen eye for detail and ensure reports are completed accurately and timely.
As one of the assessments will be carried out remotely, personal IT equipment is needed along with a suitable broadband connection.

Requirements:
Have relevant occupational or sector experience within the last 5 years.
Be a Professional Youth Worker with one of the following degrees in youth:
- BA (Hons)
- BSC (Hons)
- Level 6 Integrated Degree
- PG Diploma
- MA
- MSc
If you have a historical qualification in Youth Work please do apply
End point assessing experience is favoured.
Advantageous if you hold or are working towards Assessor Award but not a requirement as we will support you to complete a CAVA award.
