Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will hold a JNC-approved Level 6 qualification in youth work (please verify this before application) and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to supporting and mentoring young people.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessments
- Assessment A – Conduct a remote professional discussion, underpinned by the apprentice’s portfolio of evidence.
- Assessment B – Carry out a workplace observation followed by supplementary questions.
- Deliver both assessments for an apprentice on the Youth Support Worker Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
2. Documentation and Grading
- Complete all required SSES documentation accurately and on time.
- Determine and record final grades in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
